Worship Pastor Update: As we mentioned in church on Sunday, we expected to have another worship leader candidate this past week. He came down with an illness but will return to us on the weekend of September 10-12. Keep praying for our search as we try and find the right person. We obviously desire to fill the spot as soon as possible. However, when you combine high standards with part time pay, you shrink your pool of capable and available candidates. Nevertheless, we’re confident God will bring us the right person at the right time. We appreciate your patience and your prayers.

• World Religions. Is it wrong to suggest that one way is better than another way? Don’t all religions have a piece of the truth but no one can really claim to have it all? Is it arrogant to insist your religion is right and try to covert others? This Sunday we’ll wrestle with these commonly asked questions, give an overview of a few major religions from 30,000 ft, and send everyone home with what I like to call an “ask your mother” gift.
