At Renaissance Bible Church, our mission is to live for God’s glory and our neighbor’s good.

How? We sum it up with three words: SHARE. GROW. GO.

SHARE. We’re born into a story. God created men and women so they might reflect his glory and live in relationship with their creator. Adam and Eve, who represent all of us, didn’t believe God was enough to satisfy their hearts so they chased after lesser things. Since that Fall God has been chasing down and rescuing those far from Him. Ultimately it drove him to sacrifice his son, Jesus, on the Cross. He paid a penalty we deserved so we could live a life we don’t deserve – that’s the good news. The gospel if more about what God has done for us than what we do for him. We share that story every week. Where are you in that story? Maybe you’re searching. Maybe you’ve been rescued by God. If so, your story is worth telling. What’s your story?

GROW. We will be most satisfied in life when we are most satisfied in God. On the night before Jesus’ death, he said to his close friends, “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). As we tether ourselves to God’s Son, we grow to think, be, and love like Christ. How are you growing?

GO. Jesus did not die on the Cross so we could huddle up in church. He sends us all out on a mission to help take back lost territory for His glory. He’s given you talents, skills, history, giftings and passions for a purpose. Where is Jesus sending you?

In 1 Corinthians 15:1-2, Paul says, “Now I would remind you brothers of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you – unless you believed in vain (without affect or rashly).”

We become a disciple and make disciples by sharing in the gospel story, growing to be, think, and love like Christ, and going where Jesus sends us.
